Black garlic mayonnaise
This mayonnaise can be used almost everywhere as a replacement for standard mayonnaise. It will wonderfully enhance the taste of your sandwiches, fries, tartars, etc. In addition, it is a wonderful sauce for Chinese fondue.
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise (homemade or store-bought)
- 3 cloves of black garlic or 3 teaspoon of black garlic paste
- 1 small clove of white garlic
- 1 teaspoon of capers
- 1 teaspoon caper juice
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Preparation
- Pass the black garlic, capers and white garlic through a garlic press (If you don't have a garlic press, cut the ingredients as finely as possible).
- Mix together all the ingredients.
Trick
Prepare 24 hours in advance for an even tastier sauce.
This recipe can also be prepared without white garlic (for a milder flavor).
Keeps for several weeks in the refrigerator.
